Jessi Rose is a Costume and Wardrobe Professional working in the Austin Film and Theatrical industries. Her passion as a Costumer comes from her love of stories and visual storytelling. She delights in the collaborative process, and excels at translating character ideas into realities. Her career in Costuming began in 2013, when she entered a rigorous Technical and Applied Costuming program. She worked as a Costume Technician, and began designing costumes while she earned 4 trade certifications. She came to Texas in 2016 to earn an MFA in Costume Design from UT Austin. Her film career began as a grad student when she designed the costumes for an award winning thesis film. She graduated in 2019 and began working as an independent costume technician and designer. With her technical skills, she has served as a Stitcher, Set Costumer, and Ager/Dyer, and earned her membership in the local IATSE Union chapter. With her designs, she has supported the production of several short films, plays, commercials, and musicals.
